A married woman allegedly committed suicide along with her two minor children by throwing themselves in front of a speeding train near Mahabubabad railway station in Warangal district on Friday late night.
Mahabubabad (Warangal): A married woman allegedly committed suicide along with her two minor children by throwing themselves in front of a speeding train near Mahabubabad railway station in Warangal district on Friday late night.
Railway police found the dead bodies on the railway track between Mahabubabad and Dornakal stretch at the old Kuravi gate on Saturday. The deceased were identified as Buggavarapu Shravani (35), Amulya (12) and Jeevani (10).
Shravani belongs to Kunavaram in Khammam district and has been married to Anjaneyulu of Bonakal in the district since 13 years. Disputes between Shravani and her husband Anjaneyulu were said to be the reason behind her extreme act.
For the past few years, she was living at her maternal home because of the disputes. She returned to her husband a few months ago after he promised to mend his ways.
However, Anjaneyulu, who got addicted to alcohol, continued to harass her, Shravani’s family members said.
It was said that she left a suicide note at her husband’s home in which she claimed to have vexed up with her life. The Mahabubabad police booked a case and investigation was in progress.
