33 ZPHS students fall ill
Thirty-three students of the Zilla Parishad High School at Aitipamula village in Kattangur mandal were affected by suspected food poisoning after taking the mid-day meal. They were shifted to local government hospital.

On Friday 25 ZPHS students had taken ill after taking the meal. aParents of the students on Saturday expressed anger at officials of the Education department for failing to take action against the mid-day meal agency for allegedly serving contaminated food to students.
Local residents alleged that the school principal was not taking action against the agency after ‘accepting’ commission. They recalled that no action had been taken when 40 ZPHS students fell sick three months back, after taking the mid-day meal.
