On an average 40 cases of crime against women are registered by Delhi police, which includes at least 4 cases of rape, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary told RS on Wednesday.
New Delhi: A shocking revelation came to light with regard to atrocities against women in the capital city of the nation, where at least four women are raped everyday. On an average 40 cases of crime against women are registered by Delhi police, which includes at least 4 cases of rape, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary told RS on Wednesday. That the growing awareness among women to seek justice is evident from the rise in the number of registered cases . The special measures by the government are encouraging women to come forward and lodge complaints, the Minister added.
