Childless couple commits suicide Vikarabad

In a tragic incident, a couple committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan at Edla Bazar here on Sunday in a state of depression as they could not beget children even seven years after their marriage.

Chandrashekar of Ekmamidi village in Nawabpet mandal got married to Chandana seven years ago.

Locals residing near their house said the couple had visited several temples and offered prayers to have children. Vikarabad Sub-Inspector Shekhar said couple could have committed suicide as they were childless for a long time. Police registered a case and took up investigation.
