Hyderabad youth hangs self to death
A 21-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself under Uppal police station limits late on Tuesday night. The deceased J Ganesh, a car driver, took the extreme step by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his residence in Laxminarayana Colony in Uppal. However, no suicide was found at the spot.
Hyderabad: A 21-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself under Uppal police station limits late on Tuesday night. The deceased J Ganesh, a car driver, took the extreme step by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his residence in Laxminarayana Colony in Uppal. However, no suicide was found at the spot.
Police rushed to the spot after receiving the information from locals. They conducted a preliminary enquiry. The motive behind the youth taking resort to the extreme step was yet to be established, the police inspector of Uppal Police Station said. The body has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered under Section 174 (suspicious death) of the CrPC. Further investigation is on.
