Miscreants set ablaze 5 two-wheelers parked in different areas in Ramanthapur area in the early hours of Wednesday. Police sources said the incident took place between 1 am and 2 am. Most of the parked two-wheelers were owned by the residents. Two bikes were gutted in Ganesh Nagar, two in Kamakshipuram and one in Gokhale Nagar.

Most of the parked two-wheelers were owned by the residents. Two bikes were gutted in Ganesh Nagar, two in Kamakshipuram and one in Gokhale Nagar.
A few residents raised an alarm following which more people came out of their houses and attempted to douse the fire. After struggling for a while, the residents managed to put out the fire. But five vehicles were charred, police said. A case has been registered and a special team has been formed to nab the culprits.
