9 yr old girl molested by 50 yr old man

Hyderabad: A nine-year-old girl was molested by a 50-year-old man on Tuesday. The accused escaped when the girl raised an alarm for rescue.

According to the sources, the incident took place in Dulapally industrial area under Petbasheerabad police station limits on Tuesday.

The accused, who works as a labourer, lured the girl offering biscuits and took her to an abandoned place and molested the girl.

The girl raised an alarm by screaming for rescue and before the public reached the spot, the accused fled from the place. Based on the complaint given by the relatives of the girl, the Petbasheerabad police registered a case under POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act and started investigation.
