15 hurt in bus mishap

As many as 15 persons including the driver of an RTC bus suffered injuries as the bus overturned after hitting a pillar on Nehru Outer Ring Road at Ghatkesar on Sunday.
Hyderabad: As many as 15 persons including the driver of an RTC bus suffered injuries as the bus overturned after hitting a pillar on Nehru Outer Ring Road at Ghatkesar on Sunday.
According to the Ghatkesar police, the bus (AP 29 Z 3932) belonging to Hanmakonda bus depot was heading to Hyderabad from Mangapet.
At around 3.15 am the bus reached Annojiguda on ORR and was speeding. Bus driver Thotappa could not control the bus and hit the pillar on the road. Due to the impact, the bus overturned, leaving 15 persons including the driver injured.
A patrolling team rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to private hospitals at Uppal and Ghatkesar for treatment. A case has been booked against the driver.
