Singer files harassment charges against husband

Hyderabad: Noted singer Kausalya on Tuesday lodged a complaint with SR Nagar police against her husband, Bala Subramanyam, for emotional and physical harassment. This is the second time the singer had complained against her husband on the same issue.
According to police, Kausalya, in her complaint, mentioned that her husband has been abusing here for long time and was harassing her mentally and physically. She requested the police to take action against Bala Subramanyam.
Based on the complaint, the SR Nagar police registered a case against the singer’s husband under Section 506 and Section 507 of IPC and started investigation. Earlier, a case was booked under section 498 A of IPC at SR Nagar police and the couple was counseled.
