PDS kerosene stocks seized
The Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, along with civil supply enforcement officials conducted raids on illegal PDS kerosene storage warehouses in South Zone and apprehended the accused person.
Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, along with civil supply enforcement officials conducted raids on illegal PDS kerosene storage warehouses in South Zone and apprehended the accused person.
They seized 53 plastic cans of PDS kerosene (around 1,645 liters) from illegal possession of the accused persons, who found indulged in procuring PDS kerosene at a lower price and marketing the same at higher price to the needy customers/shop owners for illegal gains.
The accused person Mohd Moinuddin alias Akthar, 30, a welding worker from Falaknuma was arrested, whereas another accused Mohd Younus, 32 of Ramanaspura area is still absconding. The police also raided one illegal noodle manufacturing unit at Shareef Nagar, Bahadurpura area and apprehended the accused person and seized 700 kg packed noodles, 300 bags of maida flour and 10 gas cylinders. The accused person Murad, 50 was taken into custody.
