None responsible for my death: Rohit
Rohit had reportedly written a six-page note before hanging himself in the hostel room. The note reportedly reads: “No one is responsible for my death. None instigated me either by their acts or by their words. This is my decision and I am only responsible for this. Do not trouble my friends and enemies after my death.”

The research scholar mentioned his love for science and wanted to become a writer of science like Carl Sagan. “I feel there is a growing gap between my soul and body. I have no complaints on anyone. I loved science, stars and nature. I loved people without knowing that they divorced from nature long ago. Our feelings are second handed, love is constructed and beliefs coloured. It has become truly difficult to love without getting hurt,” says the note.

“Never was a man treated as a mind. The value of a man was reduced to his immediate identity and nearest possibility; to a vote, to a number and to a thing. I may be wrong in understanding the world. Life itself is a curse for many. My birth is my fatal accident and I can never recover from my childhood’s loneliness and the unappreciated child from my past,” Rohit wrote. Rohit reportedly mentioned that people may assume him as a coward for ending his life, but he believed that he can travel to the stars and know the other worlds after his death.
