Hyderabad: The security officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday took a jawan into custody before boarding a flight to Delhi on the charge of carrying four bullets in his baggage, sources said.
Srikanth, a native of Kerala, is working as a Jawan in the Central Industrial Security Force in Hyderabad. On Tuesday afternoon, he came to RGIA at Shamshabad to go to Delhi by a flight. During security checks, the officials found four live rounds in Srikanth’s baggage and intercepted him.
On questioning, he revealed that he is a Jawan in CISF and forgot to remove the bullets from the bag.
