55 yr old man molests 5 yr old girl
A 55-year-old person molested a five-year-old girl at Vivekananda Nagar Colony at Parvathipuram in Vizianagaram district on Tuesday morning. The victim’s parents lodged a complaint with the local police. The accused was identified as A Babu Rao (55), a resident of Janatha street of Parvathipuram.
Vizianagaram: A 55-year-old person molested a five-year-old girl at Vivekananda Nagar Colony at Parvathipuram in Vizianagaram district on Tuesday morning. The victim’s parents lodged a complaint with the local police. The accused was identified as A Babu Rao (55), a resident of Janatha street of Parvathipuram.
He was taken in to custody. According to sources, the five-year-old girl was playing near her residence on Tuesday. Noticing the kid playing, Babu Rao took her to his house and allegedly molested her. After the kid returned home, her mother Bharathi saw some marks on her body, while she was taking her for bath.
Upon questioning the kid, the incident came to light. Sources said that the kid was also threatened by Babu Rao that she should not tell anything at her home. Father of the kid, Ramesh, who runs a tea stall in the area, lodged complaint with the police. Circle Inspector of Parvathipuram V Chandrasekharam said that it is a case of molestation but not rape.
