2 children drown in reservoir
In a tragic incident, two children drowned in Bogapuram reservoir in Valmiki puram mandal on Thursday. Ganesh (10) son of Hari and Bhumika (12) daughter of Dorabau of Kasiraopenta took their cattle for grazing around noon to the reservoir area.

In a playful mood, both ventured into the reservoir for bathing. While bathing, they inadvertently went into deep water. Some passersby later noticed the two bodies floating in water in the evening and reported it to the people in the Kasipenta village.
