2 cops arrested for thrashing hawker

Two constables were arrested by the LB Nagar police for thrashing a hawker, in an inebriated condition. According to the Cyberabad police, two constables Gopi (Medipally police station) and Sudhakar (Grey Hounds) had been to PR Wines located near Kamineni hospital on Saturday afternoon and consumed alcohol till evening.

After coming out of the wine shop, the duo thrashed a woman hawker. The hapless woman went to LB Nagar police station and lodged a complaint. Based on the CC Camera footage, the two constables were arrested, said the police.
