Chain-snatchers on the prowl again
Chain snatchers robbed women of their gold chains weighing nearly 16 tolas in four separate incidents on Wednesday evening across the city. All the incidents took place after 7 pm.

In the first incident at Gopalpuram, miscreants snatched a woman’s seven-tola gold chain. The same motorcycle-borne snatchers later struck in Addagutta area and snatched a three-tola chain from a housewife, resulting in severe bruises to the victim.
In another incident reported from Banjara Hills, a pedestrian was robbed of her three tola gold chain while she was on way to a neighbourhood store, while another incident was reported in Karmanghat under Saroornagar police station limits where a housewife named Haritha was robbed of her 2.5 tola gold chain.
