Nalgonda: A hotel master was reportedly killed over a trivial matter in Dameracherla mandal on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Vangodu Harish Chandra of Bugga Thanda in Tripuraram mandal, who works as a cook at Lakshmi Ganesh hotel.

According to Sura, the wife of the deceased, after closing the hotel on Thursday night, the cook Harish Chandra, hotel suppliers and two brothers Allampalli Ravi and Ramkoti started drinking.
Later Ravi asked Harish to prepare omlette for him. Harish became furious and abused and slapped him. Ravi, in a fit of rage, pushed Harish hard, who fell and became unconscious.

After some time, Sura and Ravi brothers shifted the unconscious Harish to a bed, thinking that he was sleeping due to binge drinking.

Sura tried to awaken Harish on Friday morning, who hadn’t responded and found a head injury with clotted blood.
After confirming his death with the neighbours, she informed to Dameracherla police. They shifted the body to Miryalaguda area hospital for postmortem.
The SI, Veeraraghavulu registered a case and took Ravi into custody for quizzing.
