Newborn baby girl found dead
According to the Chikkadpally police, the baby was found on the terrace of a house in Hari Nagar Colony. Tilkar Raj, a private employee along with his family is living as tenants in the house. On Sunday morning, Tilak’s neighbours saw the baby on the terrace and alerted the police.
Hyderabad: The body of a new born baby girl was found on the terrace of a house in Chikkadpally on Sunday. The baby was immediately abandoned after she was born, said police.
According to the Chikkadpally police, the baby was found on the terrace of a house in Hari Nagar Colony. Tilkar Raj, a private employee along with his family is living as tenants in the house. On Sunday morning, Tilak’s neighbours saw the baby on the terrace and alerted the police.
The police said that the 48-hour-old baby might have born two days ago and was immediately abandoned. It seems the baby was thrown on to the terrace from the adjacent buildings.
The baby’s body had some bruises and was covered by ants when we recovered it, the police said. The body has been sent for postmortem and a case was booked for probe, the police said adding that they could not find any clues.
