Nalgonda: The police on Saturday produced slain gangster Nayeemuddin’s wife Haseena Begum and daughter-in-law Sajeed Shaeen before Miryalaguda First Class Magistrate Court, which ordered their judicial custody until November 17.

On the court orders, the Miryalaguda police took Haseena Begum and Sajeed Shaeen into custody on November 10 and brought them to Miryalaguda from Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad for an enquiry in connection with several cases related to gangster Nayeem. The police conducted an enquiry on November 10 and 11 at Miryalaguda Town-I Police Station.

As the two-day police custody ended on November 11, the police produced the duo before judge of Miryalaguda First Class Magistrate Court Radha Krishna Murthy, who sent them to judicial custody until November 17. Later, the police again shifted Haseena Begum and Sajeed Shaeen to Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad.

It is already learnt that Nayeemuddin married Haseena Begum, a daughter of Sultana Begum, who was a resident of Housing Board Colony of Miryalaguda town. After Nayeem was killed in an encounter by the police, several cases have been booked on the family members of Sultana Begum.
