TV artiste Pradeep commits suicide
A 29-year-old TV artiste Pradeep working in Telugu serials allegedly committed suicide at his house at Alkapuri colony here, police said on Wednesday. No suicide note was, however, found.

There was a party at her house on Tuesday. Her relatives left the place at around 12.30 am after which she had a minor argument with her husband. It went on till 2 am and Pradeep smashed a mirror in anger and injured his hand, Pavani told the police.
She further told the police that Pradeep then went inside the bedroom, while she slept near the dining table in the hall. She knocked on the bedroom door around 4 am to wake up her husband as he was scheduled to attend a shoot.
She had to break open the door as there was no response from inside only to find Pradeep hanging from the ceiling. Pavani then called her family and also the police to inform about the incident. Police reached the apartment and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Meanwhile, different theories are doing rounds over Pradeep’s death. One theory suggested that the actor apparently took to the extreme step due to financial problems, while another theory suggested that he was not happy about his wife’s profile picture resulting in frequent arguments between the two.
It is said Pavani was seen with a man identified as Shravan in the profile picture. However, Pavani told media persons that Shravan was like her brother and her family celebrated his birthday on Tuesday night. She also said Pradeep was hypersensitive and used to get angry easily even for small things. It appeared that he took to the extreme step in a fit of rage. She appealed to the media to understand her situation and respect her privacy.
She said she had informed Pradeep’s brother in Chennai, but his parents did not answer the call. Pradeep married television actress and model Pavani recently. He is known for his work in television soaps including Saptha Matrika. He was also the lead in Tamil serial Sumangali televised on Sun TV.
Narsingi Inspector P Ramachander Rao said the exact reason behind Pradeep’s extreme step is not yet known. A case has been booked under section 174 of the CrPC and further probe is on.
