Bhimavaram boy rescued, kidnappers arrested

Andhra Police have arrested four kidnappers in the case of the four-year-old boy’s abduction. The boy, Sham who was kidnapped at Bhimavaram in West Godavari district on Monday was rescued by the police who tracked the accused with the help of cell phone signals.

They recovered a car and two bikes from the kidnappers who were identified as students who stayed nearby the boy’s house.

One of the kidnappers is learned to have been close to the boy and his family.

The group of kidnappers had abducted the boy from school premises and demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh from the parents further threatening them from informing the police.
