Infosys Partners With USC to Bridge Talent Gap. India’s second largest software corporation, Infosys, on Wednesday, announced its partnership with University of Southern California (USC).
Hyderabad: India’s second largest software corporation, Infosys, on Wednesday, announced its partnership with University of Southern California (USC). The partnership focusses on advancing global Supply Chain Management through core activities establishing a robust industry network.
On this occasion the software conglomerate conducted a round-table discussion with supply chain practitioners, consultants, technologists, and academicians in order to exchange ideas and experiences in chosen areas of Supply Chain Management (SCM) here. The main aim of the discussion was to bridge the gap in SCM talent globally.
“The global SCM industry of $ 10 trillion – that accounts for nearly 14 per cent of the gross world product – has a global shortage of qualified professionals in the sector. The US alone needs over 1 million qualified SCM professionals by 2016” said Ravi Kumar S, Executive VP, Infosys.
