Science quiz for school students

Hyderabad: Dr K V Rao Scientific Society is conducting a science quiz for students of Class VIII to Class XII from schools all over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The quiz will be held in five major cities - Hyderabad, Warangal, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati. Each city shall be a part of one of the five zones, each zone being represented by specified districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. All these zone level preliminary competitions will be held from 9.30 am to 1 pm. The preliminary zonal round will consist of an interactive written test for all the participating teams. Top six teams from the preliminary round will be selected for the zonal final of the quiz. The zonal final will have rounds like oral, audio, video, rapid fire rounds amongst others. Top three teams will be selected for prizes. Top two teams from these five zones shall compete in the finals to be held in Hyderabad on November 29. The entries are invited immediately.
