Chennai: Rainfall occurred at a few places over Lakshadweep and at isolated places over Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.Heave wave conditions prevailed at a few places over Telangana and at isolated places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu. Conditions are likely to be favourable for further advancement of South west monsoon over some more parts of Southwest bay, Southeast bay and Eastcentral bay after three days. The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres are: Venkatagiri Kota (Chittoor) 5 cm, Kuppam 4, Badvel (Kadapa) 3 and Chittoor 2 cm.Highest maximum temperature recorded in the region: Nalgonda, Bapatla, Ramagundam and Ongole: 46 degree Celsius.
