Dry Fruits : Muslims break their fast with Dates, at least in India. The dates have high levels of natural sugars which is an instant energiser-A reason why dates would be the best bet for the hungry souls.
Biryani: Again an Indian specialty which is a favourite among non-vegetarians.A rich delicacy where rice and meat is flavoured with aromatic spices and cooked in rich creamy yoghurt with a dash of herbs and saffron.
Fruits: If it's ramadaan then you will invariably find fruit stalls offering you the season's exotic fruits on a platter. This is the best time to try them all.
Haleem: A popular meat dish available mostly during this season. Haleem is a blend of meat, spices, wheat slow cooked for a couple of hours to get a smooth creamy consistency.
Sheer Korma: A perfect dessert recipe. It's a traditional preparation made for Eid, a festival that marks the end of the fasting month. The vermicili pudding is loaded with dry fruits.
