The mighty left disappointed by the omissions in the TDP list of candidates includes NTR’s son Nandamuri Harikrishna. He was hopeful of being nominated for the Nuzvid Assembly constituency. But his name was missing in the fifth list announced on Friday. Party sources said Harikrishna was fuming and fretting for not being considered, in spite of making a formal request to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu. He had sought ticket for the Hindupur Lok Sabha seat, which was not considered. After quitting the Rajya Sabha over the State bifurcation issue, he was hopeful of Seemandhra people’s overwhelming support. Whether Harikrishna will figure in Naidu’s scheme of things is not yet known. His son NTR Jr. was the star campaigner for TDP in 2009. Will he campaign this time is a big question queering the minds of TDP men.
