The comedy play written by Jilani and directed by Gangadhara Rao focusses on a housewife’s craze for one plus one offers extended by showrooms and malls as part of their business promotion strategy. A thief enters the house through a window at night after conducting a recce in the guise of handing over the articles she bought during the offer and decamps with some valuables. In the meantime, her father visits the house. The woman and her husband catch hold of him in the darkness. Later, they forcibly put him into a gunny bag and hand it over to the police. When the police open the bag, the person in it is not the thief but the woman’s father.
