Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Anna Satram Committee will organise the annual Brahmotsavam, Kalyana Ratham and Puspha Yagam at Buddhavari Sivalayam in One Town from today to February 20.
Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Anna Satram Committee will organise the annual Brahmotsavam, Kalyana Ratham and Puspha Yagam at Buddhavari Sivalayam in One Town from today to February 20. Special pujas will be performed to Bhramaramba Malleswara Swamy, Bhadrakali Veerabhadra Swamy and Ganga Parvathi Sametha Vasantha Malleswara Swamy during the annual Brahmotsavam of the temple in Brahmin Street.
Anna Satram Committee president Bayana Hareswara Rao on Friday said that the celestial wedding of Bhramaramba Malleswara Swamy would be performed at Old Sivalayam on February 17 on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. On February 18, City Police Commissioner AB Venkateswara Rao would inaugurate the annual Rathotsavam of Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy at Ratham centre. Several traditional art forms, including ‘Kolatam’ ‘Puliveshalu’ and ‘Lambada’ dances would be performed during Rathotsavam.
Committee secretary Bachu Venkata Narasimha Rao, treasurer Challa Hari Narayana, executive committee members Nandipati Narayana Rao, V Prasad, M Venkata Subba Rao and D Shankar Rao were present. Later, posters of the annual Rathotsavam were released by the Anna Satram Committee.
