Shaik Julekha Bahaar of Global Chess Academy won a silver medal in the State Chess Championship held at Kadapa from June 6 to 8. Global Chess Academy secretary Sk Khasim on Tuesday announced Julekha qualified for the Under-7 National Chess Championship to be held at Chennai from August 17 to 25 by securing a silver medal in the State tourney. Academy president K Rajendra congratulated Julekha for her achievement.
