Women to host vintage car rally

To raise awareness on road safety, an NGO Being Women along with Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences, will host the \'Women Driven Vintage Car Rally\' on Sunday at 9 am at People\'s Plaza. The rally will be flagged off by Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy and Transport Minister Mahendar Reddy. Over 30 vintage cars from the British and Nizam era will be driven by women at Necklace Road.

Over 30 vintage cars from the British and Nizam era will be driven by women at Necklace Road.

The rally themed ‘My City, My Safety, My Responsibility’ will encourage people to resort to safe driving, pool vehicles, use public transport as far as possible and follow traffic rules. The participants and cars will be judged and prizes will be awarded in various categories which includes Best traffic rules followed cars, Best Decorated Car, Best Maintained Car, Best Dressed Group, Best Disciplined Car on Road, Best Parked Car, Best Selfie with Car and Best Peace Loving (Less honking) car.
