Seed industry pioneers honoured

Seedsmen Association, Hyderabad, felicitated individuals from the seed industry for their valuable contributions to the field during its 20th AGM on Wednesday. This year, Sameer Padmakar Mulay from Ajeet Seeds Ltd was presented the SMA Award for being the best Seed Enterpreneur.

Seedsmen Association is the largest and oldest seed industry association spread across the country and has 400 members. Apart from Sameer, scientists D Raji Reddy, director of research, PJTS Agriculture University; L V Subba Rao, principal scientist, ICAR; and Dr T Anuradha, principal scientist, ANGR Agriculture University were honoured.
