Barkas FC, Golconda FC win titles

Barkas Football Club (BFC) and Golconda Football Club (GFC) emerged as the Under-16 and U-13 champions of the Mohd Habib Free Day/Night Jr. Football Tourney-2016 that was conducted by Sports Coaching Foundation (SCF) in their Masab Tank complex on Saturday.

BFC defeated SCF ‘A’ 3-1 in the championship clash while GFC downed Royal Football Club 1-0 to annex the trophy. Around 50 teams participated in the tournament.

Mohd Uzair, the custodian of the titlist was declared player of the tournament in the Under-16 category while the Under-13 award went to Saleem of Golconda Football Club.

Named after Arjuna awardee Mohammed Habib, the prize distribution honours were done by Dr Sangram, former Director of Preventive Medicine Department in the presence of K Saibaba, Secretary of the Foundation.
