ICONART Gallery, invites photographers and artists working in digital art forms, who have explored the bylanes, street life, people, festivals, monuments and political strife of Hyderabad.
They can submit photographs that are realistic, symbolic, abstract, post-modern in their expression.
The gallery conceptualised the theme as the bylanes of Hyderabad’ hold more stories than its wider main roads , flyovers and glass facades of its new West; sometimes it whispers, at times a mounting inner tension and many a time a burst of commotion and frensied action .
It spills out on the roads as a festivity or as a stored conflict, the festivals bring color and cheer, the riots and disputes create fear.
The landscapes with its beautiful monuments hold Hyderabad into its mystic history. The people, their body language and dialect are steeped in its own peculiar languid flow. The still life of it age old rockscapes add charm to its antiquity.
