Maintain quality in road works: Minister Eatala
Finance Minister Eatala Rajendar, accompanied with Roads and Buildings Engineer-in- Chief Ravindar Rao, inspected the progress of four-lane road works from Huzurabad to Parkal and Huzurabad to Jammikunta in Huzurabad on Tuesday.
Karimnagar: Finance Minister Eatala Rajendar, accompanied with Roads and Buildings Engineer-in- Chief Ravindar Rao, inspected the progress of four-lane road works from Huzurabad to Parkal and Huzurabad to Jammikunta in Huzurabad on Tuesday.
He ordered the officials not to compromise in maintaining quality while laying the roads.He also observed the map of the bridge to be constructed over Uppal railway track and suggested the officials to construct it without any inconvenience to the residents of that area.
The Minister directed the officials to take all measures by constructing side roads along with small bridges to prevent accidents while constructing the four-lane roads in villages and pay compensation immediately to those villagers, whose land was used for road construction.
After the formation of Telangana State, in order to provide better transport facilities to the people, the government has sanctioned Rs 193 crores for constructing these two roads, said Eatala.
The engineering department officials were told to supervise the construction works regularly and told to maintain high quality in roads construction that would last for several years.
