Festive fervour has gripped the temple town Bhadrachalam as part of the ‘Vaikunta Ekadasi Prayukta Adyayanotsavalu’.
The Hans India photographer Srinivas Setty brings telling devotionals stills from the colourful atmosphere of worship. While temple priests performed special pujas and rituals, there are a slew of cultural programmes including music concert and a mythological play ‘Mayabazar’ running, which are drawing the crowd’s attention to the maximum.
Other events include ‘Uttaradwara Darshanam’ on ‘Vaikunta (Mukkoti) Ekadasi’ on Monday, ‘Sri Goda Kalyanam’ on Friday and ‘Rathotsavam’ coinciding with Sankranti on Saturday. The 21-day mega religious fete will conclude on January 19.
