District Collector DS Lokesh Kumar, who inspected the double bedroom houses constructed in Muddulapalli village on Tuesday, informed that the houses would be inaugurated by R&B Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Wednesday.
The Collector informed that in Muddalapalli the construction of about 22 houses was completed before the set target, and on Wednesday they would be handed over to 22 beneficiaries from the hands of R&B Minister.
“The constructions works are going on at a warfooting basis, so that for every 10 days one colony will be inaugurated,” the Collector said, adding that in the first week of April, about 28 double bedroom houses would be inaugurated in Lankapalli village of Sattupalli constituency.
The allotted 3,000 double bedroom houses to the district would be constructed as early as possible and would be handed over to the beneficiaries before October, he informed.
Joint Collector T Vinay Krishna Reddy, Khammam Rural mandal Tahsildar G Narasimha Rao, Mandal Parishad Development Officer Ch Srinivas Rao and Junior Engineer of R&B department Vishwanath accompanied the Collector.
