In a gruesome incident, a man was brutally hacked to death in Nalgonda town on Thursday.
Nalgonda: In a gruesome incident, a man was brutally hacked to death in Nalgonda town on Thursday.
According to Nalgonda Two Town SI Prasad, the victim, Matta Saidaiah, a financier, was hacked to death by his rivals K Jaganmohan Reddy, P Satti Reddy and B Venkateshwarlu. The accused trio invited Saidaiah to Stay Inn lodge, located at clock tower in Nalgonda on Thursday, to discuss a land dispute between them in Nakrekal locality.
Soon after Saidaiah arrived at the lodge, the accused locked the room door and attacked him with knives and slit his throat. They later fled the spot.
After receiving information, police rushed to the spot with dog and Clues team and collected evidences. Superintendent of Police Prakash Reddy also visited the spot and enquired about the incident.
Based on CCTV footage, police identified the accused. A case was registered and further investigation in to the case is on.
Meanwhile, from unofficial sources it came to be known that all the three accused were arrested by police with in few hours and were quizzed to know the facts and motto behind the murder.

The deceased Kadari Vijay, studying third standard at a private school at Gandhi Nagar of Labour Colony in Warangal, went missing on Wednesday evening. He went school and didn’t return home. His worried parents searched for him but in vain.
The boy’s parents, Radika and Rajesh, filed a complaint at Mills Colony police station. As the police were searching for the boy, the locals informed them that they had found a dead body of a child packed in a plastic bag.
The circle inspector P Tirumal and staff reached the spot and examined the body and found that he was the missing child Vijay.
The police launched investigation into the case and took two persons into custody.
