The launch of the PlayStation4 is barely days away and Sony has decided on announcing a line up of digital applications that will available during its launch on the PSN Store.
The myriad of apps will include the likes of Netflix, Amazon Instant Prime along with Hulu Plus, as these three apps cater to most of the web TV populace. The new addition that will excite most Indians is the inclusion of YuppTV as a dedicated app. This app can offer over 150 Indian TV channels, be it live or on demand. It also has a selection of 600 movies that are available for access anywhere, anytime.
There are also two sports options - NHL GameCenter LIVE and NBA Game Time. Along with that there are a few more entertainment apps like EPIX, a movie streaming service, WalMart's VUDU and Crunchyroll, these apps are meant to curb the anime cravers’ hunger at any point of time with a multitude of shows like Naruto and so on.
In addition, there is Sony's own Music Unlimited, a global cloud powered, digital streaming music service with a global catalog of over 22 million songs.
