Pastor beaten up by mob
A pastor was attacked by some unidentified mob in Saidabad on Friday night. The injured pastor was shifted to a private hospital for treatment. Hyderabad: A pastor was attacked by some unidentified mob in Saidabad on Friday night. The injured pastor was shifted to a private hospital for treatment. Police registered a complaint on Saturday and began investigation. According to police, the victim Bhimudu Nayak, 45, a resident of Singareni colony in Saidabad and native of Nalgonda district, was going alone from his residence towards Vaishalinagar, Champapet by walk during the night on Friday.
Suddenly some unidentified men numbering more than 10 thrashed him and fled the spot. The pastor, who received multiple injuries, was shifted to a private hospital in Malakpet. Police believe that attackers were non-locals who came to attend a function in the locality. “It was a sudden confrontation and no prior enmity.
They were about 10 to 15 persons who were involved in the act of violence,” said K Narsing Rao, Inspector, Saroornagar. The case was registered under sections 147, 149 and 324 of IPC.
