SMS water bills for Cantonment residents
The Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) residents can now heave a sigh of relief as they would be receiving their water bills via SMS. By May 2, all the details of consumers would be put up online at scb.aponline.gov.in. The water wing officials have been collecting the details such as name, mobile number from the consumers in the last two months. All the data has been compiled with and would be available online.

In the past, the residents complained of not receiving their bills on time. As a result, the bills mounted exorbitantly and residents had to shell down huge amounts. M Raj Kumar, superintendent, Water Works, SCB said that mobile numbers of all the 20,000 consumers had been collected. As a further facility, there is also an option to submit missing information online.
Residents can check the status of their payment online and clarify any doubts and discrepancies with the board officials subsequently. Meanwhile, data would be online for editing for 15 days. With the streamlining of the water connections, the SCB officials would be receiving continuous revenue, hoped an official.
