FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Hyderabad Chapter has offered a lifetime membership to Olympic silver-medalist in Badminton, PV Sindhu. In a statement issued in Hyderabad on Sunday, Padma Rajgopal, Chairperson of the Chapter lauded Sindhu and announced the honour. “She is the pride of Telugus. Sindhu has been a guest of honour at our programmes in the past.
She is an inspiration to many of us,” said Padma congratulating the badminton player. “Our Telugu daughter has brought glory to the country. We are all proud of her achievement. We will organise a grand programme to felicitate her,” she added. “She is an inspiration to women at large. This year, the theme of the organisation is ‘Aspire to Inspire’ and Flo Hyderabad is proud to have PV Sindhu as our life member,” Padma said.
