Reinforcing their resolve to provide world class eye care facilities Dr Agarwal’ s Eye Hospital expansded their services with the launch of the Himayat Nagar facility, which was inaugurated by Regina Cassandra on Thursday.
Cassandra reinforced her support to Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital eye donation awareness campaign during the occasion. “It gives me immense pleasure to inaugurate the new hospital at Himayat Nagar. Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital has been synonymous with clinical excellence. With the new centre for the residents of Himayat Nagar also will get an opportunity to experience their expertise and patient centric approach,” she said.
The opening also witnessed Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital pledging 50 free eye surgeries to the members of the Regina Cassandra fan club. Dr Adil Agarwal, CEO of the hospital said, “Around 80 per cent of the visual impairment in India is either preventable or curable.
However, due to lack of accessibility to quality eye care they are left untreated. We will be opening eight new centres in the region and around 150 across the country in the next 24 months.”
Elaborating about the new centre, Dr Maramganty Vamshidhar, Head of Medical Services, Dr Agarwal's Eye Hospital, Telangana Region, said, “Equipped with best-in class facilities and trained staff, the new centre will serve as a one stop solution to all eye care needs.
I am confident it will spread the joy of better vision to a larger number of patients across the region and improve the eye care delivery system in the city.”
Equipped with the latest operation facilities (Modular Operation Theatre, Precision Cataract and Retina Operation Theatres) the centre will provide patients with the best in surgical care as well.
The hospital also has facilities like laboratory, pharmacy and optical wing that offer wide range of frames and lenses of high quality and leading brands.
