Showing purposeful determination, the institution’s boys and girls made it to their respective title rounds after spirited showings in Monday’s semifinals.
In the summit clashes, Future Kids boys will take on Oakridge while girls from the host did a splendid job while making it to the finals, where they take on Future Kids.
St Andrews girls entered the finals after showing remarkable grit while staving off the brave front put up by DPS Kajaguda players before winning with a 27-24 verdict.
Oakridge boys defeated Chirec PS 54-24 while St Andrews School boys lost to Future Kids 30-53 in the semifinals. Future Kids girls did a fine comeback job even after trailing by five points till the third quarter against Chirec PS.
They changed their game-plan and covered man-to-man to zonal distance, which led to extra time when it was 36-36. However, in the extra time, Future Kids won comfortably at 45-38.
