Water pipeline works begins at Public Sector colony

A drinking water pipeline project was inaugurated by Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) member J Maheshwar Reddy at Public Sector colony here on Thursday. Locals have been facing water problem for over two decades.
Bowenpally: A drinking water pipeline project was inaugurated by Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) member J Maheshwar Reddy at Public Sector colony here on Thursday. Locals have been facing water problem for over two decades.
The SCB passed a resolution recently to lay a fresh water pipeline by replacing the existing one at a cost of Rs 3 lakh. Waseem, a resident said, “We have been giving representations to SCB for several years and are happy that the issue has been taken up.”
The residents had given a representation to the ward member recently. Aziz, a resident of Public Sector colony said, “The number of houses have grown multi-fold in the past few years and the population too has increased by leaps and bounds but the old water pipeline had to be changed. We now see hope.”
