Chanchalguda: A delegation of All India Bazm-e- Rahmat-e-Alam headed by its President M A Mujeeb visited Anand Ashram (rehabilitation centre for Beggars) in Chanchalguda central prison and appreciated the steps taken by DG V.K.Singh in this regard.

He met all the inmates brought from various places of the city of Hyderabad and extended their support to this noble cause to wipe out beggars particularly in old city mosques and Dargahs. Professionals beggars from different parts of India are residing in a special colony, they must be stopped by the citizens and NGOs.

This organisation started campaigning in the name of “Do not encourage begging” in city and requesting every people to stop encouraging beggars. According to V.K.Singh, till today 210 beggars are residing in Anand ashram and women and girls beggars are kept in Cherlapally jail.
