Mud pots sales centre opened
Telangana State MBC Welfare Sangham convener Gaddam Saikiran on Monday inaugurated the mud pots sales centre of Srirama Kummari Salivahana Cooperative Society in New Gokulnagar, near Ayyappa temple, here. Addressing the gathering, he said that the TRS government was encouraging castes involved in traditional vocations by providing subsidy for modernising their implements.
Hyderabad: Telangana State MBC Welfare Sangham convener Gaddam Saikiran on Monday inaugurated the mud pots sales centre of Srirama Kummari Salivahana Cooperative Society in New Gokulnagar, near Ayyappa temple, here. Addressing the gathering, he said that the TRS government was encouraging castes involved in traditional vocations by providing subsidy for modernising their implements.
He stated that the government was also encouraging MBCs by offering them more loans with increased subsidy. Saikiran assured MBCs that the government welfare schemes would be extended to all eligible persons. Ramanthapur Kummari Sangham president Nampalli Ramulu advocated the need for using mud vessels/items while consuming foodstuffs for health reasons, instead of those made of plastic.
