Officials told to speed up construction of 2BHK Houses
District Collector Dharma Reddy ordered the officials to speed up the constructions of Double Bedroom houses in the district to hand over them to the beneficiaries as soon as possible.
Medak: District Collector Dharma Reddy ordered the officials to speed up the constructions of Double Bedroom houses in the district to hand over them to the beneficiaries as soon as possible. Speaking at a review meeting on the progress of the constructions of 2BHK houses, the bureaucrat said the government has taken up the project prestigiously and every official should work dedicatedly to accomplish the project before the deadline.
He expressed his dissatisfaction over the snail pace of the progress of the project in the district. The collector was apprised by the officials that the district was sanctioned 4,970 houses in total of which 2,025 houses were under various construction stages and the process of tenders for 2557 houses was completed so far. To overcome the shortage of sand supply, the concerned RDOs will be ordered to resolve the issue, said the collector when the contractors raised the problem in the meeting which was also attended by EE Venkateswarlu and other officials.
Later, the collector reviewed on the implementation of Investment Support Scheme with the Revenue officials. He ordered them to supply the slips with the details of venue, counter number and cheques to the farmers before the issuance of cheques irrespective of issuance of patta passbooks, discrepancies of caste, gender and photo details of them except the errors in extensions and records of deceased farmers. Make the slips of Rythu Bandhu Scheme slips mandatory for the smooth implementation of the scheme, the collector directed the RDOs and Agriculture officers.
