Vikarabad: The results of class 10 are out. Arrangements for the advanced supplementary examinations are also in place. Those who passed out of the school are getting ready for their college life.

The decision which is taken at this crucial juncture of the life will affect their future. But rural district of Vikarabad has not enough facilities like education counselling to drive the students into right path. Many students of the district are from rural background. If they are not guided properly, their future will be affected.

Firstly, most of the students join colleges which have no proper recognition. People attract towards the colleges which give huge publicity. If students join those colleges, which have no recognition, they will have to face hardships in future. Education authorities cautions that students should check thoroughly before joining.

Board of Intermediate Education announced the details of recoginised colleges for the academic year 2018-19. There are 56 junior colleges in which nine are government, 26 private, 21 model and social welfare colleges.

In all, 19 private and 16 government junior colleges are recognized institutions in the district. The education authorities are advising the students to take care about their admissions. Students pursuing second year intermediate in the colleges which are not recoginised by the government will be made to join in government colleges, an official said.
