In a significant development, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) introduced an additional 25 buses to benefit people travelling from various parts of the city to Hi-Tech city. This initiative has come as a huge relief to many IT professionals who were inconvenienced from limited number of buses to reach areas in and around Hi-Tech city.
Hi-tech city: In a significant development, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) introduced an additional 25 buses to benefit people travelling from various parts of the city to Hi-Tech city. This initiative has come as a huge relief to many IT professionals who were inconvenienced from limited number of buses to reach areas in and around Hi-Tech city.
In addition, it also launched an app called “Dial Your RTC officer”, where the passengers can immediately register a complaint or suggestion with regards to the service and timings of the buses.
When contacted, executive director of Greater Hyderabad Zone and IT, TSRTC A Purushotham said, “There is an increase in the number of buses to ease the passengers travel and also introduced this app to regulate the timings of buses depending on the suggestions of travelling passengers on daily basis.”
The Greater Hyderabad Zone, TSRTC is operating about 3,572 schedules. Buses with 42,275 trips from 29 bus depots and logs about 10.09 lakh Kms, every day, while transporting almost 33.00 lakh passengers in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad travel.
He further said that, “The Greater Hyderabad Zone not just met the needs of people travelling by bus from long distances but also worked for the convenience of MMTS train bound passengers attending offices with providing 3 city ordinary shuttle services from Hi-tech city Railway station to VBIT via Hi-tech City and Mind Space during morning and evening hours.”
The details of bus routes under operation to Hitech City
i Route No: 11W-Ameerpet (Maithrivanam) to Wave Rock via Jubilee Hills Check Post, Madhapur, and Hitech City – 20 buses are under operation with 120 trips at 10 mts frequency.
Metro Feeder- With the introduction of Metro Rail, they have introduced 10 additional buses on this route as feeder services connecting Maithrivanam station.
i Route No: 10H – Sec’bad Station to Kondapur via Begumpet, Ameerpet, Yousufguda, Krishna Nagar, and Jubilee hills Check Post, Madhapur and Hitech City. – 60 buses are under operation with 720 trips at frequency of 3 mts.
i Route No: 300/126 – Uppal x Roads to Hitech City/Cyber Towers via LB Nagar, Sagar x Roads, Chandrayangutta, Aramghar, Attapur, Nanalnagar,Gachibowli, Mind space - 15 buses with 64 trips at frequency of 20 mts.
i Route No: 222L – LB Nagar to Lingampally via Dilshuknagar, Koti, Lakdikapool, Masabtank, and Banjara Hills Road No: 1, LV Prasad Eye Institute, J.Hills Check Post, and Madhapur.
Hi-tech City, Kondapur, Allwyn x Roads 45 buses with 315 trips and at frequency of 10mts.
i Route No: 194B – Bachupally to VBIT via Nizampet, JNTU, KPHB 4th phase, Hi-tech-City and Mind space.
i Route No: 195W – Bachupally to Wave Rock via Nizampet, JNTU, and KPHB 4th phase, Hi-tech City, Mind space, Gachibowli.
19 buses are under operation with 216 trips at 8 mts frequency.
Metro Feeder- With the introduction of Metro Rail, we have also introduced 10 additional buses on this route as feeder services connecting JNTU station, for the convenience of commuters.
i Route No: 127K – Koti to Kondapur via Lakdikapool, Masabtank, and Road No: 12, Income Tax colony, Apollo Hospital, J.Hills C/Post, Madhapur, and Hitech City. 39 buses are under operation with 304 trips at 10 mts frequency.
i Route No: 193S/185J Jeedimetla sector to Wave Rock / VBIT via
Vivekanandanagar, JNTU, Hi-tech City, Mind Space. 5 buses are under operation with 22 trips at 25 mts. These 5 buses have been introduced to connect Metro Station at JNTU with Jagathgirigutta & Hi-tech City sector.
i Route No: 10KV – Kukatpally CAC to VBIT via Moosapet, Khaithalapur and Hi-tech City. 1 buses with 6 trips. 9 buses with 54 trips are under operation at 10 mts frequency.
