Congress observes Vikarabad bandh opposing CM’s unilateral decision
Terming the decision to include Vikarabad district under the Zone-IV as unilateral, Congress observed bandh in the town on Monday. Several political parties and people’s organisations took part in the bank.

Parigi MLA Rammohan Reddy condemned the Chief Minister’s unilateral decision and declared that the Congress would write to the Center on the issue. While the far-flung Zaheerabad has been included under the Zone-III (Charminar zone), while the Vikarabad, closer to Hyderabad, has been merged with Zone-IV along with the Jogulamba district, he compared.
He said that the development of the district would take a seat if the youth of the Vikarabad district go to Jogulamba district for employment purpose. The people of the district put the blame on MLAs Kale Yadaiah and Sanjeeva Rao for failing to convince KCR on inclusion of the district in the zone-III.
